About the role

We are looking for an instructor for our frontend groups. The course starts with HTML and CSS basics and ends with JavaScript, React and a real project. Students range from complete beginners to self-taught learners — you need to work well with both.

Students learn to turn a design into working code, adapt pages to any screen, fetch data from APIs and publish their work online. Your job is to guide them through that path step by step and clearly.

By the end of the course every student should have their own portfolio site.

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • At least 1 year of experience with React
  • Able to build responsive layouts
  • Comfortable with Git, npm and modern build tools
  • Experience coding from Figma designs
  • Patient, happy to explain something more than once

Responsibilities

  • Run group lessons on schedule
  • Review homework and explain mistakes
  • Guide students through their portfolio project
  • Keep the syllabus up to date
  • Track attendance and results in the CRM

Filming and editing equipment is provided by the centre.
